This looks like a farthing to me, Britannia isn't quite what I would expect on a halfpenny. For example, the date is very wide compared to the base of Britannia and the shield has narrow bars rather than wide ones. Do you have this coin in hand yet? Maybe you meant to type farthing? It is quite a nice coin though.

Here is my 1754 1/2d for comparison.

Your right it is a farthing, sellers pics were poor I took a gamble on it, just weighed it 5.3 was sold as a halfpenny just came few hours ago thought it felt light. nicely spotted thanks not worth as much as a halfpenny but think il keep it all the same looks better in the hand than on the pics. shame its not a 4 over 0 that would have made my day.
