How much would you consider this coin to be worth?

G'day, without a scale, I am forced to ask: penny or twopence ?
In either case, I've never seen one as good as that.
Can't wait to see the reverse ...
1787, 1797, 1799, and 1816~1820 were the years when a lot of iconic coins appeared: I understand your fascination with them - I'm "bitten" as well.

My book (Collectors' Coins GB) gives £200 for the average price of one of these in EF condition but doesn't give a quote for UNC condition. I'm assuming it's in EF. Also I am scared of paying such prices so i'd expect to go lower. Really haven't a clue on what a fair price is for this piece but I'd take a wild guess at.....£100!

Very nice detail, Very close to UNC at least AU-58. If the reverse looks anyhting like the obverse I'd say between $375-425.

Pictures are in the coin grading section.
Buy price.
$35 face US cull 90% silver coinage.
When I agreed to the trade in Jan silver was at $15.78 Which would have made the buy price around $400 todays silver price puts it significantly more than that.
