...or not? My 2 year buying spree has come to a halt, but just couldn't resist this one. I think it's a top pop, only 3 PCGS, and 1 ANACS exist. Is it too good of a deal, or am I fooling myself? Buyer has one neg feedback for not shipping a coin. They haven't shipped yet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/28183428664...RK:MEBIDX:IT

I am not well versed on high-end slabbed coins, but I just looked at what NumisMedia says for 1959 Proof-69... RD 175.00
RD Cameo 562.50
RD Deep Cameo 6,250.00 I think you got a great deal.

Darn, was almost hoping it wasn't such a good deal. I smell a rat, but too soon to throw in the towel. The seller also knew it was a nice coin, like they mentioned in the description. If the photos were better, they probably could have gotten a lot more for it. Might be worth it for them to keep the coin and take a feedback hit.

Yeah, I'm assuming it's a point over graded, but the seller thinks it's gold.

Well, even if it crosses at ONLY a PF67 to PCGS, their book value is $275 for Deep Cameo! Nice pick up!

I bet you get it. The issue is it really a DCAM? The haze around Lincoln's head and through ONE CENT say it's probably not DCAM but you'll have to see it in-hand. If it is it's a great score. There were over a million of these proofs struck and PCGS has certified 3 as 69DCAM out of around 2,000 1959 LMC proofs certified by them. DCAM is tough to get at the big boys and that's where the real value's at.

Yeah, the best thing about it might be the holder. ANACS only certified one of them, no 68s, and the next closest is a 67. Probably worth a shot at a cross.

PF68 Cameo, or PF67 DCAM and it was still a good buy. I think you took a good risk. Nice catch!
