1958 LWC Cracked Skull, Lamination, Extreme Polishing

I have started through a roll of 1958 BU LWWC's I purchased at a coin show. This one seems to have a die crack near the top of Lincolns head and the beginning of a lamination below that. Also extreme polishing above the letters TRUST. Also note letters in LIBERTY. More polishing? Finally, what causes the shelfing seen on the 9. It's on all the date numerals.

Not polishing that is VLDS that causes that and on the 9 I don't really see anything?
