It's not displaced. It is a mound of copper. No displacement out of the coin. Looks just like a Cud or "BIE" penny.

It's not a gash or indention

It is a mound of copper that was scraped from the bottom of the chin, nothing more than PMD.

And also, a Cud involves the rim. If this was a die break, it would be called a die break, if it was one.
