Is there any chance you could type in the answers in a reply please? For some reason I can't see the answers. Maybe bc I'm on my phone and don't have a computer?

Great. My work is for the benefit of new collectors and others to be able to carry on after I'm gone. I'm a visual person. I like to show more with images, so I can show you what I see on your coins. If you understand and benefit from my efforts. You make my day. Thanks for your comments. If something is still unclear, ask it if a thread in question form and others and I will help you with that information. We love questions, as it shows how much depth you are learning and what more we can help you with. Also on my signature line there are numbers 1-5. These are Youtube Video's about 20 minutes long. (2 hours total) that you can watch in segments. I call these videos: "Coin Fishin', What to keep and what to throw back."

So how many years of looking at the difference between MD & DD did it take everyone to become proficient in accurately identifying the difference? I was able to get a couple, but I still suck overall at depicting the difference

Well what took me years to learn, now I can update new collectors in months to figure out. I was thought the old method: "No, that not it." My method is to show show why it isn't by comparing to what is. So that is helping others to see why it is, or why it is not a topic for discussion. Eyes seeing, is better than reading. (in my book)

I was looking at the 'allcoinsaregood' post today 5/21/23 regarding a possible DDO http://goccf.com/t/446003) and I came across this 'coop' post. I did not get them all right but did better than I thought I would. This is a great post by coop. I do often have a hard time determining actual DDOs, this post is helpful. It's still tough for me to tell most times, especially depending on the condition of the coin.

@coop Thanks for posting this!
