This is probably a scyphaye (cup shapped) Byzantine coin. The moderators will most likely move this post to the ancient sub-forum and alert you to this via email.

Definitely Byzantine, but I don't know enough about those types of coins to be of much help without a few hours of research. We have a few members who know a lot about these, so the mods should move you topic over to the Ancients form soon. In the meantime, what does the other side of your coin look like? Byzantine coins usually have a monogram or inscription which can help to quickly pinpoint the issuing ruler.

It is a Byzantine trachy of what appears to be Alexius III 1195-1203. It would help if you would also post a picture of the obverse. The picture you posted is the reverse.

the only that confuse me is in alexius iii coins there is globe cross here is a patriarch cross.
