It's been a very long time since I posted a new coin, finally I have been able to break my dry spell with this few coins I add today. The first is an AE Prutah of Herod Agrippa I ruler of Judaea from 41-44 AD. Agrippa was the grandson of Herod the Great. Agrippa is mentioned in the Bible in Acts of the Apostles chapter 12. Ae Prutah 18mm x 2.7 grams x 12h Obverse: Royal umbrella partial legend in Greek "King Agrippa" Reverse: Three wheat stalks, date letter L? second part missing. Ref: H553

Really nice example. It's always a treat when Judaeans show up on this board.

I believe the spelling on Echizento's prutah is the typical spelling one sees on these: alpha - gamma - rho - iota - pi - alpha
...although on his coin the gamma was transcribed almost like a "T" (tau).

Interesting, Now that you mentioned it it does look like Tau rather than Gamma.
