Hi!

Please could anybody tell me if this is an A TO DENTICLE? Also, it looks like there is extra metal betwixt the denticles around there... Could this be the case? I could also be gunk but I don't want to clean it because all the "never clean your coins" stuff has me really scared to ever clean a coin.

I don't think it's gunk though...

Looks like you snagged an ATD! Looks like some kind of goo on it. I would either leave the goo as is or carefully pick at it with a round sharp toothpick. Experts here would prefer a hawthorn I think but those are not so easy to find.

Thanks Smallcentguy! I had to Google what a hawthorne was haha...

I'm going to try to gently scrape the goo off tonight (off my coin that is..)!
