Most notable thing to me on this coin is the toning and those dark spots, especially on the obverse. Grade wise, if MS, maybe 62. It's certainly not a rare or hard to find coins (most Morgans aren't in this state) so don't feel pressured to take this one if you don't love it. Why has this one caught your attention as a addition to the "family"?

I am pretty much where everyone else is.

MS62 or 63. This is a coin that if sent in might get a AU grade.

The reverse does have more eye appeal than the obverse.

I would not buy this coin unless the price was right.

Wise choice. There are many thousands of 1880-S in better condition.

I agree. I don't like the toning. The obverse looks MS61 or 62. Reverse a little higher. Id net it at 62 as most have
