1944-D Lincoln Wheat cent DDO #005

This 1944-D Lincoln Wheat cent has extra thickness showing on the date and motto, and the 9 of the date shows a separation line. Appears to match up but figured I should double check..

Any feedback, comments, or suggestions welcome...

The location of the mint mark is lower than the 005 on your coin. (also rotated on your coin a bit)

The mark on the "W" on WE is part master die doubling during several years:

The other marks on WE are die flow from a worn die.

There was also master die doubling on the 44 as well that year:

I'm afraid this is a normal coin with circulation flattening on the devices on the rest.

thanks coop.. I didn't know of the master die doubling on this year. Do you know of a list of the years with master doubling these are the ones I wrote down so far 1972, 1944, 1961, 1989, 1918.

Wexler on Master die doubling:
http://www.doubleddie.com/203801.html
1932 cents suffered master die doubling on the 3 of the date:
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
1937 cents on the 7 on the date:
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
As mentioned earlier on the 1909-1955 cents there was an issue with the "W" on WE. "D" on GOD and the LIBERTY:
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
1938 cents:
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
1940 cents:
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
1941 cents:
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
1960 small dates:
1944-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-DDO-5
1937-S doubling on the 9 in the date. Although not classified as master hub doubling on DDO's, there are many class 6 doubled dies, that were too minor to list this year. So it seems something was affecting the hubbing of these dies this year.

This a few off the top of my head right now. Probably several more I've missed.
