It doesn't look Sassanian or Kushan, I have no idea.

I am thinking the second pic is upside down
Looks rather like a 'king kneeling' type I have seen on Kushan.

The character looks like it is wearing the same headwear as on the Obverse or something similar.
I still cant figure it out though.

Solved, it was the 1st picture that was upside down.
MAXIMINUS II DAIA, civic Christian persecution issue.
Obverse - GENIO ANTIOCHENI, Tyche of Antioch seated on rocks, river god ORONTES swimming below.
Reverse - APOLLINI SANCTO, Apollo standing left, patera in right, lyre in left. I in right field.
SMA in ex. Antioch. VAN HEESCH 3-I

I cant take credit for the full identification Bob.
The Reverse I had managed to nail down to a late 3rd century type ( similar to many of the period ) but the Obverse was still a mystery so I contacted Victor at
www.constantinethegreatcoins.com and he enlightened me.
I would never have worked out what the Obverse was.

Did you get my PM Bob ?

Well, any good detective has assistants...Holmes had Watson, after all.

Didn't get the message yet...Am I correct that it should come via email? I don't see it yet. Fyi, I'm writing from work now. I'll check again this evening.
