Currently clearing up a few random coins and this 1 has cropped up which I am struggling with. I have seen the bust with the strange hat somewhere before but cant find it now, maybe Persian I cant make out any of the legends unfortunately. Weight - 1.63g Size - 15mm Any help is appreciated. Obverse - GENIO ANTIOCHENI, Tyche of Antioch seated on rocks, river god ORONTES swimming below. Reverse - APOLLINI SANCTO, Apollo standing left, patera in right, lyre in left. I in right field. The Reverse I had managed to nail down to a late 3rd century type ( similar to many of the period ) but the Obverse was still a mystery so I contacted Victor at www.constantinethegreatcoins.com and he enlightened me.
