Here is a trio of Maximianus Follis all from the London mint. The first two are both RIC 6b but are of different styles. The last is RIC 90, a piece struck during the second reduction and while about the same diameter, weighs half has much as the first two. The first two were struck closer to 300 AD whereas the last was struck sometime between 307-310.

Interesting to see how the style differs though being from the same mint. Very nice group.

Thanks. I like this small group because it does show the changes occurring at the London mint during the reconquest following the usurpation of Carausius/Allectus. Pretty cool story they tell.
