hey everyone! Found this coin in a bag of foreign coins I purchased at a garage sale. I'm very new to coin collecting and this coin, while very exciting to me, is way beyond my knowledge base. Any help, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. hope the pics are good enough first time taking pictures of a coin.

Looks to be a lamination peel from the 2nd pic, lost after strike. This site is a resource for error info, so if you're interested check it out: http://www.error-ref.com/lamination...fter-strike/

Yours is quite noticeable, but I don't know the market for these so I'll let others tell you about value.

I think this would sell on ebay without too much trouble. You might get lucky and do a little better. 1979 is a relatively common date for errors.

I agree I think it would do well on ebay, wish it was in better condition but that's a very nice lamination.

Cheers, Bill
