I'm pretty much done with selling on ebay, because they always side with the buyer, which allows you as a seller to get scammed, taken advantage of. So, where do you guys sell besides ebay? What are their fees? Do they have great customer service? Thank you!

All of my better coins will go to public auction, after I kick the bucket.
In a public auction, lower valued coins can be sold in groups of a few to many, higher valued coins can be sold as singles.
Consignment fees are typically around 15% to 20% of prices realised, which would include taxes.

The most valuable part of my collection I can't even give away.
That is my love and whatever knowledge of numismatics I may have acquired.

Flea market or local coin shop bid board are two ways to sell other than ebay.

ebay does not "always" side with the Buyer. Sellers that do not follow the rules 100% can easily find themselves on the short end of the stick, though.

There is a small community here that buy/sell on the website. You have be meet the requirements for the marketplace, but for the most part everyone there is legit and very nice.

Other than that, ebay is bad but not that bad. I have never used GC so cannot comment on that. stay away from craigslist for coins.

For lower value stuff, there's no place that has the eyeballs of ebay.

GC makes their niche in the "too good for ebay but not good enough for the top tier" auction market, although there have been a few bigger items sold there too. Call it, oh, 250 - 10K...
