General question about Civil War tokens, A dealer that I go to often, saves me all the strange stuff or error coins that he finds. He shared a few civil war tokens that are about 90% rotated. I would upload pictures but I do not take them out of 2x2s unless I plan on purchasing them. Is it common to see these Civil War tokens rotated? I would assume that these coins would be worth more as they are to token collectors, than as errors, what do you think?

Thanks You!

Rotated dies on CWT's were a very common occurrence. There are a great many more flagrant errors in the CWT series which, IMHO, adds to the appeal of collecting them. Indeed, there are many varieties that are virtually unobtainable without some particular error.

Almost like the 2 cent pieces and how common they were to be found rotated. I did buy one of his Civil War errors, a nice Cud, CU-TOKEN-1863(PT)-06.
