The other day I was at one of my favortie clients homes for a service call. I love this guy cause he too is a collector and always shows me his goodies. He is mainly a Civil War gold collector, but since he pretty much has that complete, he's moving on to early American. He showed me this Medal and told me the story behind it. Very cool piece. This is a re strike from the original dies I guess, but still very old, early 1800's.

I just wanted to share the photos with you all.
If you can share the story about this medal that would be a nice.
