Good question. Well, it's definitely something that I want to keep doing. I started it, then the site started growing so rapidly I'm swamped. Every month has been setting a new visitor record for about 18 months now. In fact, January is on pace to beat December by almost 30% and December currently hold the monthly record! Ironically I woke up this morning to an email from our host about.... you guessed it, buying more bandwidth. What we used in a month a little over a year ago... is per day now.  Guess we're doing something right.  So in a nutshell, I want to do it, haven't forgotten about it, and will try to find time for it, but no guarantees it will be soon. |

Well I enjoy the site. I have learned alot here. Any chance you could maybe pass the buck so to speak on getting another mod or something to do coin of the week?

You could even let the members volunteer to do the coin of the week, and therefore get participation while we get the thrill of sharing knowledge/research. :)

That's quite doable Bobby. Set some quick guidelines and the info can be e-mail to you in an attachment with everything you need and all you need to do on your end is upload it
If this sounds alright with you...sign me up for a week

I too would be happy to volunteer for a writing roster. Of course, all my coins-'o'-the-week would be Darkside... I don't know nuffink 'bout no American coins. That explains why the site is slow tonight, but I'm not complaining because it's part of the growing process of CC. I was going to suggest what some others are about letting some members doing it. I wouldn't mind doing it on some Shield nickels. |
