I'm not liking the look of this coin. Seems, off. Comical almost. Below the questionable coin is a similar one from CNG. Thoughts?

I don't know anything specific about these coins, but it strikes me that the top coin has all the proportions wrong when it comes to it's subjects. The seated woman's head is far too large for her body.

These coins were widely copied in India and other countries for trade purposes, a lot of them were very crude copies but others were correct in their legends, showing stilistic changes...

Perhaps this is one of these copies but...

Die struck fakes, probably in good gold.
Easy to tell; the style is all wrong.
To really appreciate and copy the ancient dies cutters' style, you have to get into the head of the ancient die cutter.
In this case, the modern die cutter has failed rather miserably to do this.

Have a look at large number of Tiberius aureii.
That is not hard to do.
Refer to the 'Wildwinds' data base for pictures of lots of Tiberius aureii, and you will slowly come to learn what I mean by 'style'.

I agree for all the above stated reasons.
