Looks like a normal coin for this year that is a small date. Coppercoins only lists one small date DDO for that year.
1960-D-DD?
The small date over a large date miss match for the hubs. What are you seeing doubled on your coin?

I'm probably not and think I am seeing double lol.
I got to stop with these coins lol.... Maybe it is normal
for the coins and I'm seeing it different it's probably time
to call it quits. For example the Pluribus I'm seeing double lettering
underneath and in other areas but it's probably just normal for the
Coins and not to mention I don't know exactly what I'm looking for
when it comes to the doubling. Thank you though Coop for pointing
It out to me I always appreciate the help from you.

The shinier the coin, the more light plays tricks on you. Sometimes the light can reflect off the devices onto the fields and look like doubling. The way to handle it, is to hold the coin at different angles in the light - if the "doubling" moves or disappears, it is only reflection. It can fool your camera in the same way. Your reference is your coin, (the proof is in the pudding). When the pic matches the coin, you have nice pic.
It gets easier, just think how much more you know now than just a short while back.

Also, sometimes the "doubling" is there, but maybe MD. That classifies as a normal coin. When you find one that is truly doubled you will know. You will gasp and it will knock your socks off.

Mdnyte, you know there are lots of other types of collectable coins that carry value. They are much easier to learn than doubled dies. You could collect Rpm's, clashes, laminations, etc. while you hone your doubling skills. It's all fun.
Click this link, it is a really good site with descriptions and pictures for each year and values.

Oh my God CoinMasters your so sweet thank you.
I am completely frustrated with myself these days
not knowing the difference between machine doubled
and double die. It's even more frustrated when I think im
seeing something and I'm not....I'm starting to wonder
about myself lol

Not to mention poor Coop he's so nice how he puts things
And he must be getting sick and tired of seeing some of my
posting on these doubled die which is for the most part is machine doubled or
there is actually nothing there. I have to sometimes laugh at myself.
I think I will take you up on your advise and try looking for other
things with the coins. It is a fun thing coin collecting, not to mention addicting lol, you
should see my work area and the piles of coins that my work papers
share with the desk it's terrible lol, But I so appreciate
all you guys to have such patients for people such as myself in this
learning process, Thank you your all so sweet.

PS what you guys should do is to start another forum
for beginners and just use my pictures. Title it, "if your coin
looks like this, throw it back into the " Oh For Goodness Sake~
Just Spend me now bucket!" lol

I'm so tired I'm not even writing correctly.
My pillow is screaming my nace, Thank you
again and have a good night.

You are funny too. Good for me. lol Everyone starts out the same as you. I was the worst one. I still am, just on a different level now. We all help each other, no problem. We all enjoy it, it is fun, fun is rewarding. From time to time it is very rewarding. Getting late. Another time, my friend.
