From the first sight I can see that it may be some kind of Chinese or Japanese coin (not only because of the symbols but also because of the square hole in it) but I would like to know exactly which so please help

From the surface texture, it appears to be a modern replica. Someone with more knowledge on the characters can help further though.

It is not a copy of a genuine coin; the only character normally to appear on a coin is bao, the one on the left. It's one of a class of Asian coin-like charms intended to invoke wealth and prosperity.

The four characters are, in Chinese, zhao cai jin bao which literally mean something like "summon wealth progress money" but more creatively, something like "May you have wealth and your money increase."

If I remember correctly, you can get these at crafting stores and potentially even Walmart in the crafts aisle.
