Best Way To Sell Varieties

I have a few unattributed variety TPG coins that I think I would like to sell, as they seem to carry a nice premium over the normal version of the coin and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on best place sell coin if I was looking at sending to an auction. I know there is ebay, already sell surplus collection bits there, but it seems to have less interest action with most varieties compared to what I have seen at some auctions.

With varieties, is is worth it to get them graded with description? Assuming above a certain dollar value. Should coins be worth a min dollar value, or is that something the auctioneer will specify?

I have never sent coins to auction, is it better to send a good number or just a select few?
