I had bookmarked a site on civil war tokens, it showed photos of the various Fuld varieties and how to identify store tokens/patriotic tokens by description or by entering text.
It was not the Richard's Token Database website or the Steve Hayden website.
I clicked the bookmark today and the site is gone. Tried to google and no luck.
It was called Civil War Token Resources.
Does anyone know where it went? Thanks,RK

It appears that Bill Luitje has taken the site down. He had a lot of good information there, especially on Michigan store cards.
I would recommend the 3'd edition of the Fuld Store Card book, available from the CWTS.

Thanks for confirming Penny Guy and for the information. It will go on my Christmas wish list, last year I got both volumes of the Cherry Pickers Guide.

Quote: I will join (CWTS) as a last resort. This comment saddens me. I've been a CWTS member for over thirty years now. Looking back, I'm surely glad I joined. For only $15 a year now, members receive four journals a year, get discounted books, can participate in member-only auctions, can buy tokens at fair prices from advertisers, get insider info about new discoveries, see member-written articles containing phenomenal historic details, and get to network with some of the most dedicated collectors in the hobby. Thanks to the CWTS, I've collected some great friends, too!

@ExoGuy, I just have a passing interest in Civil War Tokens. I am sure it is a great group just like the group we have here.

RK55 ... It simply saddened me the way you phrased that comment; like the CWTS was a last resort.
When I first joined, I too had a passing interest. Over the years, I've been in and out, out and in, many numismatic organizations. The CWTS is the only one in which I've sustained continual membership for over thirty years; this, even though I have since demonstrated more interest in other collecting genres for many years now. The modest dues have given me returns many times over.

For what it's worth I too have been a member of the CWTS for years, not as long as ExpoGuy but agree on the value. The savings on books alone will pay for several years of membership. I get to see and visit with the CWTS President later this week at the MSNS Fall Conference. I always seem to learn something new from him.
