AU Details. Heavily polished. It is shiny and does nit have apparent luster.

When you rotate the coin in the light, it has a "shiny pattern" that changes as you rotate it, I thought that was luster... I still like it though, even if it has been polished...

Yeah I agree AU details , Has that polished to a shine look with only a bit of luster left in the fields ..

Well, I watched a "peace luster" video on YouTube, I do see a little bit in the fields on my coin, but it's all over the one in the video... Thanks for the help, I am learning!!

Not 100% sure its polished, I just think the last pic doesn't have the best lighting. Can we get better pics, showing the luster please?

I've been experimenting with lighting, but I'm still learning about that too... Will see what I can come up with...

I think it is probably just the lighting - has the look of an AU coin with some wear on the devices. Fields look pretty original.

I just can't seem to get a good pic of this coin with the lighting anywhere in our apartment, but based on what I see in hand, and the PCGS link, and YouTube videos on luster, I think I agree with the general consensus of the opinions given so far...

I was recently going through my moms items, (who's now passed) and I came across an envelope with these huge, heavy old silver dollars. I'm not very familiar with value nor variety, but it sure is pretty!!#128525;
