Need Help Iding An Afghanistan Coin

This date is using the Solar Hejira calendar used in Iran and Afghanistan; to convert SH dates to AD dates, simply add 621. So this coin dates from AD 1953. By "496" I assume you mean "946"; KM 946 is the catalogue number for this coin type in the Krause world coin catalogues. Unfortunately, the NGC page for this coin doesn't have pictures.
