Was able to purchase these two coins for a total of $22. Didn't seem like a terrible price since they were graded, especially MS 62 for the 1887 and AU details (scratch on the rev). Both are beautiful coins and am glad to now have them in my Dansco album! Only 55 coins left to go!

Thanks! It is pretty sweet that it seems a lot of the different Japan type coins, even those 100+ years old, can be found for very cheap. There are a couple that aren't going to be cheap but overall a bit cheaper than the US type set.

A lot of copper coins are actually a bargain. Small silver denomination are also affordable. When it gets towards silver yen and Trade dollars, they can be very pricey.
