In the first picture, middle column the members here already commented on the Highland National Bank Note. The $20 is worth face or a couple of dollars over. The $10 on top was printed for use in North Africa during WWII, it's worth anywhere from $25 to $30 The other notes not seen I can't place a value since I don't know what type or series they are. $1 silver certificates are common. Uncirculated are worth $5 or so a piece; circulated $1.25 to $2 a piece The $5 National Series 1929 Type 2 from San Francisco is a common note from a huge bank and I'd value it at $30 to $40 The 1928B $1 silver certificate I'd value at $10 to $15 The 1923 large size silver certificate on top I'd value at $60 to $80. The circulated one at $20 to $30 NOTE: These are my opinions only. I used ebay sold prices to see what the market was for some of these notes. -MV

Thanks MeadowviewCollector for your opinion :)
I have no idea to the approximately value of this "collection"...
Hope to work with professional(s) on the next week.

Monsieur Marc, votre collection est tout à fait magnifique!
And that is about all the French I can remember. Quite a selection and many nice United States type notes. Your collection does have value; and please choose your appraiser with great care. Check their credentials and their professional memberships. Such as:International Banknote Society; Professional Currency Dealers Association; You may also wish to contact the curator at Musee du Louvre or Musee Carnavalet. My last trip to Paris was too short and did not have time to visit them.
Je vous souhaite beaucoup de succès.

Cher techwriter, merci beaucoup !
Yes my father was started early, he haved also a collection of U.S. items : sculptures, western & indians photos, books... he was really passionate with great knowledge.
For selling I think found a good auction house, I wait answers, but yes, I have know mistakes with others professionals, I regret the first deals.
Curator at Le Musee du Louvre/Carnavalet for ? I don't understand the "link" with U.S banknotes :)
Thanks a lot for these words.

mes excuses, my reference to the curators was that perhaps you could contact them for possible references. I haven't written this much French in 20 years and I had to go "dig out" my English-French dictionary. Perhaps my wife and I should plan another trip to Paris, last time it snowed in April ( Easter weekend ). , Bienvenue, I believe we forgot to welcome you to the forum.

Je vous en prie ;) Thanks again... I'm surprised, not answer by auction houses or no "final deal", think it was writed by a member was true, maybe ebay is the best solution, just disappointed to split items collection (series & c.o.)

I have chosen an "final solution", made pdf for ebay auction on three days 11/12/13 march (2016) with lot of low start prices. If CCF is ok I can upload the catalog approximately the 11 february for giving you an overview : 330 items, and of course if possible the ebay web link.Wait CCF answer and your position on this idea.Thank you

Marc since you are going to sell these items on ebay, I would make sure that the prices are reasonable enough to attract bidders, but high enough that you cover the costs associated (fees, postage, etc.) Good luck with your auctions. -MV

I'm interested for some of them. Perhaps I can see them in real, it depends on where you live in France.
