I just got this at work last night.
A customer gave me five $2.00 bills...4 of the 5 were just spenders, but I kept this one because it was a Star note from Kansas City.. (all were K.C., but only this star note, and it was in good condition-the others were not good)
What is an approximate value here?
Worth keeping? --the four corners remove it from "Uncirculated" condition, but it's pretty decent outside of that.

Nice! Gotta love it that certain notes circulate that are far more valuable than face.

By all means -- KEEP it. One of the 'key' notes to the $2 1976 star series. Be sure to store it in a protective holder. Good note!

I agree with tech/Les and everyone else. It appears as a possible XF-AU example, and a great circulation find.

The Minneapolis district (I*) star and Kansas City district (J*) star usually bring the most value. Get it into a mylar currency sleeve as soon as possible. Typical value for an AU example is $40-$60. The price doubles or more for a GEM centered uncirculated example.

Well cool then ! ---

And yes, it went into a plastic protective currency holder.
I have a lot of paper currency. ..or what I consider alot, I just don't have much knowledge about paper money...never focused on it much.

Thanks for input and info fellas ! --
