Hey guys

Recent ebay purchase , both coins are in the old green pci holders ..
I'm not good at all with circulated Buffalo nickels!
What do you guys think these grade?

I did have a little bit of a hard time trying to get the date to show up in the photos as they do in hand ...

I agree with those grades. What did PCI say?

Rest in Peace

Well guys I don't have a nickel album or anything so I really don't undestand why I'd crack them out, I actually like the old pci holders ...
Prior to buying these I searched the dates in similar grades with PCGS , NGC , ect ... Seems like these coins would grade out right around pci grade if I was ( for example ) send them to NGC, or ICg but would possibly down grade if sent to PCGS or anacs ....

One thing I will mention though is the angel I took the photos the date and what little bit of the horn that's left doesn't show as good as in hand , just couldn't get it to focus in at the angel I wanted ....

Since theirs seems to be such a difference in these grading company's standards , plus a decent price jump on these from Vg to fine I think for me it'd be foolish to crack these out !! I guess if you had a buffalo album I could understand doing so ...
PCI graded both the coins FN15 , my thoughts were similar to T-BOPS that these would come in around F12...
From what I can gather they fit in right about F12 using ANA standards , F12 comparing to NGC and around VG8-10 comparing to PCGS !!

A PCGS or NGC F-12 is probably going to cell for more than a PCI F-15. You may as well leave them in the PCI slabs though, since they're probably not worth sending to a reputable TPG.
