Not sure of what your asking. Are you referring to a D/D on your coin or MD ? your photos are way too blurry to determine anything .

Hard to tell from images..

From what I think I can see in the bottom image the AME of America appears to having the doubling cutting into the shape making it smaller which is the result or a worn die. IMHO

But better images would help to better determine exactly whats going on.

It's weird I thought there was jus two dies for the 83 but check this out, the first two pics one off ebay currently he's asking for over 500, the second pic is mine
