Bisecting Rim To Rim Die Cracks On U. S. Coins - ?

CoinCents Pillar of the Community United States 3656 Posts	Posted 12/04/2015 01:11 am Hello Just learned about the websites for Cuds a couple of days ago.So I have pulled out a bunch of coins that I had put aside because I didn't know what the errors were. So now I have seen a couple Lamination error coins (which I thought were die cracks). And a few Die chips coins in my stacks. What could this be? from Cuds.on.coins I found Bisecting Rim to Rim Die Cracks on U. S. Coins RRDC-1c-1849-01 which looks similar to mine which is a 1955D but it also had similarities to UDC-1c-1955-01. Please let me know what you think. Thanks a bunch Report this Post to the Staff

BlueSolo Pillar of the Community United States 740 Posts	Posted 12/04/2015 02:28 am It's a scratch, look at the "Y" in "liberty" also see how much dirt is in the scratch. Lincoln cents and they actually had one for 1955 that is almost identical to the pattern of my scratch. I appreciate your time. Report this Post to the Staff
