Hello All,

Ive got this very small coin in my collection. Probably an nummus with christogram?

One side you see NIA? and an head (not clear on the pictures)
The other side some figure (probably christogram?)

Does anyone happens to know this piece?

Can you take a larger picture and give size and weight of the coin? You picture is too small for me to tell anything.

I don't have functional scale yet. just ordered one last week because mine is broken.
The diameter is 13mm on longest side and 10mm on shortest.

That doesn't look like a Chi-Rho to me and there really isn't much detail to go by. Perhaps if you clean it up a bit it might help. Hopefully some one else might be able to tell.

I agree--most likely not a chi-rho AE4. How thick is it? I get the feeling this is a lot older than 5th century. Later Roman coins are not necessarily thin, but this coin looks to be pretty thick.
