I'm also using my iPhone to upload the photos and use it as well to view this website, and I guess it blurs out on regular computers so it's very hard and confusing to get any images clean for viewing

An iPhone has the potential to get pretty nice pics, check out the photography section here for a few tips.

That mark might be from coin contact from another coin. I've not yet see any nose affected that way. There is a DDO for that year/ But here is what to look for on it:

Thanks guys. This coin deserves at least that dreaded trip to the local coin "experts" coin shop in my city. I hate going there cause every time I take a coin to get better examination and good opinion, he's always there! This one guy is always there. I think that's his job- to deal with only me and just me! I swear every time I hand over the cent he always says the same thing before even taking a single look over the cent "that's just your regular old penny there". Not once has he not said that to me in a sarcastic way. Like yeah I get it, he's the ultimate coin expert in the world or something. And so It made me stop collecting coins for long time. I really hate that guy!! But it deserves a trip

I have no idea what a point n shoot camera is and wouldn't be able to pick one out of a line-up even if my life depended on it? I really don't like that lil coin shop, it's kinda dark inside there as well so that's another reason I always dread. I live smack in the middle of Los Angeles and Anaheim. The ones listed in yellow pages have either closed forever, list different addresses for 2 shops with same name but same phone number, or probably just don't care because none of these places answers the phone! And all the other coin dealers are really pawn shops that advertise as coin collectors. I've seen a place in palos verdes it looks nice and legit but from the ads I've seen on their stock ticker tv screen outside, I don't think they would see me and my cent. Services they include is dealing gold bouillon and double eagles made of a thousand karats gold. I need to find someone, like a go to guy or lady that I can get honest opinions of anything I bring in. I hate Los Angeles !!

the best and honest not only opinion that you are going to get are here, with the knowledge of a lot of these guys are giving us for free. You just have to work a little on your picture taken so they have a better chance of seeing it.

And your are correct about my bad photographs. Every post I put up is always followed by " need better clearer photos" comments. I try and try but never seem to get it right. I've tried using the free image optimizer this site had to offer, though it's sorta easy to use and figuring out, the images that have been optimized for use are even worse than these I think, too blurry. I would like to know what are the problems with the images I post, when you guys and or gals view them on your devices. I would like to know please . Because I don't know what I need to fix when you guys or gals say "need better pictures" comments. It's too vague to understand. Are images just a massive blob that appears to you, am I way to close to coin when I snap photo? How big are the images when you view? Can you zoom in and if so by how much %? Should I try snapping with no zoom and then crop and use that natural way of zooming? How bad is the lighting of image? Blinding even to the blind? Or do they sometimes come out dark? So please feel free to letting me know and feel free to make any attempt to crack wise. It's fun to see how people laugh at me! Cause that means a lot! Wanna know why? Because you took some time out from your daily life to read this message, time that has now been wasted on me and this long message, time that was wasted on simple lil' old me! And you don't realize how much that means to me, so thanks! Finally the end...awwwww!

Took the 66 cent to coin shop, and looked in the book of variation and errors but couldn't say anything because there is nothing in the book for 1966 cent. I then asked to take a look with his glass to get better look at doubling nose and eyes. He said there is definitely something there about doubling but couldn't say much because there is nothing in the books and so far I'm the only one to bring this up. So that's that. Can someone give me info towards sending coin to the top experts of these matters maybe they can shed more light on this matter? Thanks
