Even if not damaged, I don't think the value would be affected much if any.

- in that condition the problems don't really subtract a great deal more from a lower value. Still interesting.

good points there. I just believe the gouges, including the one through the date, is unattractive, and I only want attractive coins in my college. but I haven't really seen another rotated 1872.
