Could use some help with a couple of things on my penny.
On the Obverse I think there is some cracking from PMD?

On the Reverse
I believe I have a die crack running from the rim and up through the wall.

Then on the column I've marked there is something?
Tooth pick trick was not working, but if you think it is
plating bubble then I will try to find a needle and see if it pops (didn't want to damage the coin otherwise)

Then on the left side of Abe is that part of the chair doubled?

Thanks for looking.

Hi Sandy - correct on the PMD and die cracks. Some cracks are really interesting and although there's no real premium (there are select cracks that folks look for), many here set aside the ones that tickle their fancy. Regarding the gas bubble and toothpick not working: looks like a die clash to me. Go to MADDIECLASHES.com and look up the clash specimens you find. Some are listed there so as I noted in your other thread, looking for items beyond the wheatback cents really adds to the hunt (at least for me). Use the search engine there to look up your date and choose from the listed items there to see if you have a match. Good luck!

I took a quick look - didn't see yours, but better to be thorough. Here's a link of something similar:

Thanks so much Rackster, another new website for me to explore (excellent!!)

Wow, that was really nice of you to look it up for me and actually be able to find something close to mine.
You have been great, thank you very, very much.

Yes, it really does look similar. They accept emails with photo's (if the photo is good enough)for confirmation. What do you think? Are my pictures good enough for submission via email?

My problem is that I don't know where to go or start. Each date has it's own special varieties/errors.

As far as error coins, I'd love to find a 1992 Close AM or a 1969 S DDO.

Thanks
Sandy

That is a pretty good clash, you can also see Lincoln's chin and mouth in the far right pillars. The clash is a likely story for why the reverse die cracked. The dies striking each other like that is destructive.
Can we get pictures of the obverse?

Here is the Obverse, this is so exciting my first Die Clash.

I was trying last night to figure out what the other part was that you just identified the Chin & mouth (thank you).

Here are some more of the Obverse close up, notice the line going accross the coin through Abe's bowtie and chest? It goes from rim to rim. I just thought it was a scratch, maybe part of what happened with the Die crack?
