Does anybody know where I can find pictures of the die markers for the 1922 plain vs 1922-weak D?

I found that site a few weeks ago and I love it. I'm a beginner, so it's really helpful to me.

That's just a regular 1922-D isn't it? I can't say for sure from that picture but the "D" looks pretty normal to me.

Hey Brian, what do you know. I just joined this forum and I already found someone I know.

So, are you looking to buy a 22 plain? My best recomendation would be, buy one thats slabbed. It might cost you alittle more money, but atleast youll know its the real deal. Thats one of them dates that you let the experts authenticate.

DJP welcome aboard, I just joined this site a month or so ago myself. It's a great site with lots of knowledgable collectors!

I'm not actually looking to buy a 1922 plain but I am in the process of trading for one. It turns out that I had a rare Silver Strike token from a casino and I'm only moderately interested in them so....it's being traded. I should have the '22 in-hand next week.

WoW thats great. a genuine 1922 Plain. Oh thats gotta be a good feeling to have one in hand that you own. Congrats. Now, if you already know which one your getting, please give us the details. Is it slabbed? If its not slabbed, Ill get on it and find out the markers to look for. I know just the people to ask. I have some Lincoln experts that I can ask and they know their stuff. I know my fair share, but I'm not like them. They buy 22 plains and other key dates all the time. Anyhow, congrats, when you get it, Id love to see some pictures. And thanks for the welcome.

It is slabbed but not by one of the top 3 or 4 TPG's so who knows...it might be a 1922 weak D

The guy I'm trading with just bought it off of ebay and the seller doesn't seem to know much about it, it was suposedly donated by a coin dealer to raise money for some charity.
