(Edit: Bought coin, it was priced around a VG8.)

1803 Draped Bust large cent; S-253, small date/small fraction, . after last 0 in denominator. Late die state; reverse die break has not turned into a complete die failure yet, but it is getting close. Color looks good; minor nicks but I do not see any porosity.

My "eyeball grade" from seller pictures is around VG8 -- what does CCF think? I don't think it has enough hair detail to make F12, but is VG10 possible?

I agree , it has a good chance of making VG10 - the detail is there, and no major detractions that count.
