This one looks nothing like the 1976P-1DO-003:

Note how the devices on LIBERTY are showing tails on the bottom left of the devices? The "I" is totally different.
Note the date is a lot wider on the 003.
The OP's coin looks like a normal coin. (some years the devices look wider than other years)

It is not 003, but there is definitely extra thickness on LIBERTY

I looked at it some more last night and you guys are right,it's not 003. But to me in hand it looks like a DDO so I will put it in my "to research" pile for now. Thanks for the help.
