to the Community!

What you have is not a US Mint issued coin, but could be a Mint issued medal. I moved your post to the Identification forum for a better assessment.

Yes, it is a Mint issued medal struck in the 1970's as part of the America's First Medals. The metal is pewter.

ebay sold results shows this medal has sold for anywhere from $1.25 to $10 with the vast majority $5 or less.

Thank you for that, MeadowviewCollector!

I have now moved this to the Tokens, Medals, and other Exonumia forum.
