Came across this dime today and noticed a tiny puncture in it. It does not go completely through as you can see I used and orange background for contrast.

Mostly likely PMD but I thought it was interesting (for me being a newbie to coins) enough to get some feedback. Didn't know if something like this could be caused by mechanical malfunction.
