I have this $1 bill from series 2003 A that appears to have a colored American flag behind the "ONE" on the back. The front also has a stamp around the right-hand side seal for the website wheresgeorge. Edited by tights24 to remove external link by new member,,Edits are non negotiable ,,please leave the post as edited .

Do you know if this bill had the flag on it when it was printed or if it was put on by someone else? And if it was printed like this, is it worth anything?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Wiitbred. My guess is this was stamped on the bill the same time someone stamped on where's George info. I honestly do not know how to tell if the flag part is real, except for the fact that I don't think these colors are used in the process as a single color... I could be wrong, so don't take my word on it.

Both the designs are restamps ,,I have seen quite a few notes with advertising ,emblems and other non mint things stamped on them .

they do not add to the value of the note in any way shape or form.

Thanks for the responses. I was just wondering because the flag didn't look like a stamp to me. It still looks good though.
