I would like to see Eleanor Roosevelt on the $20. Now, I am most definitely not a liberal, but, Mrs. Roosevelt stood for and advocated many good things and I do admire her.
Hamilton should remain on the $10. His contributions and leadership of the early Treasury department were invaluable to the US.
(My opinions and a nickle are worth 5 pennies.)

Interesting thread, maybe the 'politically correct' bureaucrats will be out of office soon. HOLLYWOOD, interesting bio of Hamilton from your third link, however, Hamilton's nationality was British, having been born in the British Virgin Islands; thus he could never be a President of the United States, too bad. His contributions to the new nation will never be fully appreciated. He served his new country well.

I know I will ruffle a few feathers with this post and there is a good chance that this post will be edited or even deleted but I have to say this. I do not think a women should be placed on any paper money again. They had a good run with Martha Washington back in the late 1800s currency but that is where it should end. I use to use 10 dollar bills exclusively but when I heard this I have not used a single 10 since. Keep the women off of our money.

although I do not know a lot about history of women in america, I have noted that there is a strong tradition of(after liberty anyway) great presidents and important people from the beginning of your country being on your currency eg. Lincoln Cent, Jefferson nickel, Franklin half, George Washington dollar bill etc., I say keep it this way, it is a good way of keeping memory of the founding fathers, great american presidents, leaders in war etc. and that it creates interest in american history just from looking in your pocket change,. heck! I bet people will completely forget Hamilton ever existed if he is taken off the $10! I did not know who he was and now that I do I am even more against replacing him with a woman. you guys have a great system of who you put on your currency. if it aint broke dont fix it. also, I must state that I have no problem with women and that I do not want to offend any, if it weren't for women we would not exist.
Feel free to call me Will.

seeing that two of the 4 are black, I wouldn't want either one of them and here is why. Though they both did goods things... not enough representation of all of America. All Rosa Parks did was refuse to sit in the back of the bus. Harriet Tubman was a Union spy as well as an abolitionist, again, not representative of all. They should limit it down to one of the other two. Mankiller and Roosevelt did much more then the other two in regards to representation of the country as a whole.

I think Roosevelt would be a good choice. Come to think of it, I don't know much about women in the history of this country (and I'm a history major...)
But I wish Jackson instead of Hamilton was being replaced. Jackson wouldn't have liked being on our paper money anyway.

Hamilton may not be completely replaced... it's possible there will be two new designs. Per FAQ #4 on the treasury web site: Quote: While the design process is complex and much work remains to be done, Secretary Lew has made clear that the image of Alexander Hamilton will remain part of the $10 note. There are many options for continuing to honor Hamilton. While one option is producing two bills, we are exploring a variety of possibilities. However, security requirements are the driving consideration behind any new design. https://thenew10.treasury.gov/faqs

I don't think Hamilton is going away completely either Celtic Knot... I think they are testing to see if there will be a huge backlash against it (which I if I could snap my fingers and make it so, the backlash would be sudden and historic)...
Now am I against a woman being on money... NO... However, this is only being done to be "Politically Correct" and I am AGAINST that nor do I believe our money should be changed for that reason... My first choice for a woman would be Lady Liberty and Roosevelt would be a very, very, very, distant 2nd... The others wouldn't even be considered...

with your sentiments, Bryan78. Lady Liberty! I would prefer no actual people on paper money or coins.
