Difficult question because even in Flemish=Netherlandish=Dutch There is confusion from the perspective of a Flemish Belgian We call the Netherlands " Holland " and their coins Hollandse munten They got people up north that are Friesen So we probably make the same mistake as calling everybody in the UK English which the Welsh don't like I guess coins from the Netherlands would be the most appropriate name like in the heading of Krause and I found this amusing link http://www.zompist.com/dutchcult.html Report this Post to the Staff

Actually I have already gotten wind of the Euro being THE EURO regardless of how many Euro you are talking about but it is SO hard not to say Euro's! None the less I do collect EURO coins.
