I picked up this 1974 off the bay the other day because I thought it looked neat. I see those gold plated Ikes all the time, but this "bronzed" Ike dollar was something new to me. I really like its antique appearance.

I have seen World dollar sized golden toned copper nickel NCLT before, looks very attractive but rather scarce.
I have yet to see a copper or brass plated Ike.

According to he seller, it's not toning at all- it's bronze plating. Here's a link to the auction:

The coin looks like a bronze medal, although the color is not as deep.

If the bronze plating is very thin, the color should show up as brassy.
