I've started picking up some Straits, Sarawak, Borneo, and other Malaysia-based stuff. Are these commonly faked, or do I not need to worry too much except for the higher end stuff? I see lots of low end, undesirable coins, and very few "medium" and high end, desirable coins.

What's the popularity of these series (serieses? seria? what's the plural of series?)
