Hello I have had this coin for a while didn't realize it's could be something until I looked it up online The t is barely there the R is filled in the b in liberty is partially filled in would like and opinion from some of the best so here goes hope it's a keeper as far as I can see little PMD

to ths forum.There are posts on the die that makes the inside of the letters. They were worn on this die and resulted in "chips". Interesting, but spendable.

This one looks more like a slight amount of grease that has filled these devices making them weak in shape. If the deepest part of the die is filled, the devices will look wider. That is what I'm seeing on this one.

I posted a 1926 Lincoln Wheat cent that I was told was PMD now that I look at it from watching that very helpful video is a double struck coin inside the collar complete will light letters on lincolns shirt here I was thinking it was worthless I think I might have a great coin here I cant believe it I'm happy

Sorry to say but the 1926 Lincoln you posted on 11/26 is without a doubt a mutilated coin, it is not double struck nor is it an error of any kind.

You certainly know your stuff, Coop. I see exactly what you're saying. It is the result of grease indeed. If it was just a small chip, it would have been a worn or broken post. Less room on the die - the planchet metal has to go somewhere, more room on the die - the metal fills in.

Well I still have a lot to learn in coin collecting I thank everyone for there help I'm hoping one day I can help others the way all of you have helped me thank you again so just to be sure the quarter is not the error coin ?
