Looking through some of my 35 Silver Dollars,
I noticed that one of them has a notch in the bottom of the "N" in the word REGNI
whereas the others are straight across the bottom.
I know it is not PMD as this coin was graded MS63.
Has anyone else seen this?
It is not listed as an error in Charlton's.
(I've had this coin for years and just noticed it now)

like that.

I am not sure if this thread is about 35's or 36's, but my 35 does not have a notch.

Title refers to '35, first sentence '36?

Checked my '35s, nope, no cleft N.

Really cool coin Jimmy!

I see a slight indentation on the downward shank---maybe related to PMD ?
