Great finds everyone ..... keep the updates coming.

Soooo ..... I am now at 202,400 coins searched ..... and found my first ever true error (MAD do not count). It's been judged as a die cap strike on the obverse. You can check out the tread in the 'error' section:

For DylansDad .... just pulled my 9th 1955 (Philly). LOL ...... this one you need and I need one of your plethora of 43-D.

Perhaps we should consider cheating ..... you salt a roll with that darn 43-D and I'll salt a roll with your darn 55 ...... a fair exchange I say.

Keep on searching and reporting folks.

David

Boys and girls step right up...I do believe it is time for the "annual exchange-a-roll with a random forum member"!

Oh just for kicks and giggles...I choose nickelsearcher!

LOL.

I just finished searching 20 rolls of nickels, my first time searching any rolls besides cents. I was surprised at how many 1964 p & d's there were; at least one per roll, and more than the rest of the 60's combined. Anyway, here are a few of my better finds. Not too bad for my first nickel hunt.
1940 p
1941 d
1943 s x3
1948 p
1949 p
1952 p

1964's are the scourge of nickel roll hunting, I wish someone would just pull the billion or so that are out there and melt them all

Yeah, those 64's are plentiful. But finding one with steps is rare and worth looking for.

I just found 2 very nice(my grade estimate is about ms 62) 1977 nickels in the same roll. I know it is not a big deal but any coin that age with great eye appeal(great luster too on both of them)is worth keeping and worth reporting.

Good box. Filled 3 holes: 1939-S, 1951-S and 2009-D. I'm 1400 rolls in, have 8 holes left and I've found 2 of the 5 keys (oddly the S mints). Other highlights: 1964 with almost 4 steps and a number of nice moderns. Last week I pulled a REALLY nice 41 and a 42-S with luster. I'm going to have to find another box for this weekend!
