Box 27: just the 1936 Buffalo (VF30) I posted in the last page. Beautiful coin. Nothing else of note (and I mean nothing). A couple boxes with no silver now.

Again, thanks to coppernickeldaddy for generously sharing his results with us.
Here are my results for 10,000 rolls, or 400,000 nickels searched.
At this point, I lack the following to complete a Jefferson set 1938 - 2011:
1938-S, 1939-D, 1950-D.
My ten least common finds:
1944-S T2 1 1939-S 4 1945-D T2 4 1938-D 5 1951-S 6 1955-P 6 1942-P T2 7 1942-S T2 7 1944-P T2 7 1944-D T2 7
My ten most common finds:
1953-D 114 1947-P 118 1955-D 136 1956-D 140 1946-P 165 1940-P 186 1941-P 189 1954-D 208 1957-D 258 1958-D 363
Oddly enough, I have found eleven 1943-D issues, but only one 1944-S, which I find to be rather strange.
Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread.

That's a lot of nickels searched joseph_curwen. Makes me think I have a long way before I complete my set.

joseph, that is 200 boxes right? quite a lot and thanks for sharing! How many Buffalos (how many dateless?), how many V-nickels, how many War Nickels? how many proofs? oldest nickel?
