I see there are some heavy nickel hunters. I too hunt quite a few, currently I am attemting to search 1 box per day for a full year. I am currently in my 11th month as I started last August. Thanks. Dennis.

wow, that's a lot of nickels Dennis!
Important question Dennis, are you keeping records of your finds and if so, what kind of dates/finds do you document?

Dang Dennis, I thought I was doing good That's a lot of V's and Buffs. My buff finds seem to have fallen off lately. I hope it's just a little dry spell.

Thanks, yeah that's the way nickels run, it just depends on the run of boxes you are going through. The only problem with Buffs is roughly half found do not have dates, they are still cool though. Good Luck. Dennis.

I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever attempted to put together a Buff set from roll searching? Most likely it would be impossible. I have put together almost half of the set but some of those dates are super tough to find and I dought I will ever find them with dates and fairly clean. I pefer not to acid treat them therefore I realize I am only hoping. Thanks. Dennis.

Many people here probably remember when I came across a box with over 500 buffalos in it a few months ago. Even then with a LOT of help from my bottle of nic-a-date, and my other CRH buffalo finds, I'm still missing several dates from my CRH buffalo set. I still need: 1915-S 1926-S 1927-S 1930-S 1931-S 1937-S 1938-D So it's certainly possible, but you'd need to strike a dumped hoard or two to even come close.

Last night's box yielded:
1923p buffalo

This was onme of most productive boxes ever.

Nice boxes Ke and Jon. Thanks for the info on the Buffs Ke. 500 Buuffs in 1 box, that is amazing. I reckon a man could sell off his dupes and just buy what he needed. I guess I am just hardheaded and prefer to find them in my roll hunting. Thanks for looking. Dennis.

another box: a very shiny poorly detailed (cleaned!) 1942S. Worth it's weight in 35% silver.
